Although I’m originally from a small town outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I think I can officially call myself a Southerner after more than 10 years in the Carolinas! I spent six years in North Carolina earning my education to become a physical therapist before making my way to Charleston, South Carolina, where I now live with my sweet husband, Jake, and our pup, Chloe.

If you ask my family and close friends, they’ll tell you that wedding planning was never something I set out to do—it simply fell into my lap in the sweetest way.

I’ve always been a very Type A, organized person who genuinely loves a good plan, a detailed checklist, and making sure all the little pieces come together. So when I spent countless hours over the course of a year planning every detail of my own wedding, I quickly realized just how much I loved the process. I loved creating the vision, working through the logistics, and making sure every little detail had a purpose.

Somewhere along the way, I began helping a friend plan her own wedding. One day while we were sitting together talking through the details, I felt the Lord prompting me to offer to coordinate her wedding day. So I did!

Fast forward to her wedding day, and I was completely in my element. At one point, my husband looked at me and said, “I think you were born to do this.” And honestly, I couldn’t have agreed more.

That moment was the beginning of Walker Weddings & Events.

I know firsthand how exciting—and overwhelming—wedding planning can be. There are countless decisions to make, details to keep track of, and moving pieces to coordinate, all while trying to actually enjoy your engagement and soak in this special season of life.

My mission is to take some of that weight off your shoulders. I’m here to bring organization to the chaos, guide you through the planning process, and help bring your vision to life so that when your wedding day arrives, you can be fully present and enjoy every moment.
